Oklahoma National Guard Museum Foundation

Service in the National Guard is unique. For various reasons, Oklahoma National Guard members choose to serve our state and nation as military members while remaining your neighbor, school teacher, local business owner, or fellow worker.

Their life is a blend of military and civilian life balanced by family and community support. The Oklahoma National Guard Museum reflects this blend with support from the federal and state government and private entities.

To enable the participation of individuals, businesses, community organizations, and tribal governments, the Oklahoma National Guard Museum Foundation was created. The purpose of this nonprofit 501©(3) organization is to “advocate for, be an ambassador for, raise funds for, and support the activities and programs of the Oklahoma National Guard Museum by receiving, investing, managing, and expending non-state appropriated funds and properties.” The Foundation provides an avenue for fiscal participation in the museum from private citizens, businesses, and community entities.

The Foundation, guided by an 11-member Board of Directors, believes in and supports the important work of the museum. Regardless of their varied backgrounds, these individuals share a common goal of making the museum the very best it can be
